Lanyards Individuate Conformity

Lanyards are a convenient way to keep from losing things by hanging them around your neck. Most of us are familiar with neck lanyards as a way to hold a name badge and maybe a pen when attending conventions or trade shows. Lanyards are a nice way of holding a name badge without putting a hole in your favorite shirt or tie. They are an effective means of providing to others your name as a way of breaking the ice in business social settings.

While corporate settings is where we usually think of using lanyards, there are a wide variety of other venues where lanyards serve to hold a badge or designate your inclusion in a group. Sporting events, concerts, camps, and even schools. A group of children on a field trip all wearing the same color lanyard with their ID attached to it is an easy way to keep track of a large group of kids. Different colored lanyards for different grades can keep the students separated into their respective groups.

Students also can use lanyards as a fundraiser for class projects or trips. Lanyards are easily modified by printing or silk-screening logos or team colors on the strap that fits around the neck. Flat lanyards typically come in 3/8, 5/8, or 1 inch widths, with the 1 inch offering a wide strap to be imprinted. They lend themselves to be the best choice for creating an interesting product that will show school spirit as well as be a useful and handy choice for selling to friends and relatives to support your class in their fundraiser. They can also become a fashion trend as they hold keys, that are stuck in a pocket, while the rest of the lanyard trails along outside.

Break away lanyards are a safe way to hold badges without worrying about getting strangled if the lanyard gets caught on something. Break away lanyards, as the name suggests, come apart if they are stressed, preventing injury to the user. Most of them have a reusable plastic safety buckle that can be re-buckled and used again.

Lanyards are a cool way of showing your individuality by accessorizing them with your own items, such as jewelry or pins, while retaining a connection to a larger group wearing the same color and type of lanyard.
