Yeast infections are definitely not something you want to get. They are called cetaceous candidacies and this infection occurs when the yeast on the skin grows more actively and causes a red, scaling, and itchy rash on the skin. Chronic yeast infections are common in male cases while it does not happen so much to females. Because yeast infections generally occur in moist areas on the body, such as the armpits and groin, these symptoms can usually be found in the vagina or on the penis.

Everybody has the potential for a yeast infection. We all have these organisms in our skins and it just needs a change in our daily lives to trigger a yeast infection. Yeast loves to stay in warm and moist parts of our body. The more likely candidates of these parts are the underarms, the groin areas and other parts of pour bodies where there are skin folds. Occasionally, we also get oral yeast infections. The cause of yeast infection is a spike in the number of organisms in our body. When the level of the yeast in our bodies goes up we are prone to infections.

Preventive Measures of Chronic Yeast Infection:

In women who constantly wear pants which are tight and restrictive near the crotch area, they might get a vaginal yeast infection. The cause of yeast infection in this area is the same as others; a warm and moist area is prone to infection. Women might notice an itchy, burning sensation in this area when the have a yeast infection. It is usually accompanied by a whitish discharge often compared to cottage cheese in consistency and looks. Other variants of the discharge may be a watery one.

In children who constantly wear diapers, the cause of yeast infection is the restriction of the diaper to circulate air in the area. When the baby urinates and the caretaker is not vigilant in changing the diaper, this is the cause of yeast infection. Babies often feel an itch in the area and a painful burning sensation.

The oral yeast infection often developed in the mouth cavity often occurs in the tongue and cheek areas. This is usually seen in people with more advanced age. The cause of yeast infection is probably because of dentures or poor cleaning habits.
