Camouflage Fabric
Do you want to be hidden? Trying to blend in with your surroundings? Camouflage fabrics are the just the thing.
There are many different types of Camouflage fabrics on the market today. Some are heavy duty camo material for hunters and fisherman. There are patterns for the military men and women serving our country at home and abroad. There are cotton Camouflage fabrics in many different colors for the sewer and quilter alike.
There is a new Camouflage fabric on the market called Nature-Rised and it is a special fabric created by adding natural shapes from nature to the fabric. These special textures refract the light, thus breaking up reflection and stopping glare and shine, making your camo work for you, not against you! Unlike many of the slick , smooth, shiny fabrics on the market, this fabric helps you become a part of the woods, not a large shiny object. Many other fabrics are made only in one or two steps, the new Nature-Rised fabric is made of 8 layers and procedure, each having a special function to create the ultimate hunting fabric. It is burr proof and won't snag or grab the brush. It is soft and quiet. It is tough and comfortable, strong and wind-proof, water-repellent. It won't fade or shine. What this means to the hunter is more successful hunts! When the folks at Nature-Rised set out to make the ultimate Camouflage, they quickly realized that there were only so many ways you could arrange sticks, trees, leaves, trees and limbs. So they decided that in order to make a better Camouflage, they had to make a better fabric.
Through years of working in textiles and personal experiences in the field, they noticed that there were many problems with fabrics that were being used in the manufacture of camo clothing. For instance, some fabrics faded quickly, some attracted debris, such as burrs and beggar lice. Some grabbed everything it came in contact with and some were noisy and stiff. In addition, many of the fabrics were not very durable, some had little if any resistance to weather and if it did, it was very hot and not breathable. Last, but not least, the problem with most of the fabrics had a tendency to shine and glare from reflected light. So they turned their attention to the development of a fabric that would far surpass anything on the market today. The innovative Camouflage fabric called Nature-Rised is the next generation of Camouflage.
So if you are looking to be discreet, in the woods, on the battlefield or on the lake, look for a quality Camouflage fabric. It does make a difference what you wear. If you are looking for fabrics to decorate with or to wear for fun , many colors of Camouflage are available, even blues and pinks for the young at heart. Bandanas are popular in Camouflage patterns for dress up for young children. Costumes for birthday parties are fun in the bright faux camo patterns also. Choose your level of Camouflage!

The Dangers of Sun Bathing
The people of the US seldom seem too worried about the sun. In fact, people go out of their way sometimes to get a perfect tan. If they can't get it from the outdoors, then they go to tanning salons. People generally think that being tan means being beautiful.
Yes I guess tan people can be quite attractive and lovely. But premature wrinkles on people are not so attractive. Nor are sun spots or skin cancer. But the threat of premature aging, cataracts, and skin cancer don't seem to deter people from wanting to get that perfect tan.
A better way to enjoy the outdoors is with sun protection hats. They can also be quite attractive. Also a good looking pair of polarized sunglasses. People who wear those can be beautiful and smart at the same time.
If you ever visit a tropical country, notice the way the natives dress. They wear sunglasses and sun protection hats, carry parasols, and use sunscreen. Women generally avoid the sun, because they are very aware of the dangers of too much exposure.
Generally speaking, the native women of tropical nations care more about looking young than being tanned. That is to say, they are quite sensible when it comes to the sun.
So before summer comes around and you get into the sun bathing routine, please do some research on the harmful effects of the sun's UV rays, Read some articles about skin cancer and wrinkles. Also look into the various sun protection hats and sunglasses available.
And please don't forget the sunscreen, to protect yourself from both UVA and UVB rays. Above all, have a great and safe summer!

What To Take To The Hospital When Having A Baby
The last thing you want to worry about when you go into labor, is trying to figure out what items you need to put in your hospital bag and trying to hunt them down before dashing to the hospital. Ideally you should have your hospital bag packed and waiting by the door by at least 2 weeks before your due date. That way, when the time is right, you can grab your bag and go without any last minute delays or worries.
It is useful to have 2 bags for yourself: one for labor and one for your hospital stay afterwards including your baby item essentials. It is also helpful to have your labor partner pack a bag in advance for themselves and some helpful labor items.
Labor Bag for you:
- Your Birth Plan, if you have one.
- Maternity Bathrobe. This is particularly useful for early stages of labor as you may need to walk around the hospital to progress labor. After the baby you will also need some sort of cover up to a nightgown, particularly if it's the hospital excuse for a nightgown, when you need to walk the corridors.
- Slippers and socks
- A clean nursing top or front-opening nursing nightgown if you prefer to bring your own
- Drinks and snacks and breath mints
- A straw, which will make sipping liquids easier.
- Toiletries (hairbrush, toothbrush, toothpaste, facial cream)
- Lip moisturizer
- Massage oils or lotions
- Eyeglasses (if needed)
- Cell phone and list of important numbers
- Magazines, music, word puzzles. Fun light reading to pass the time. Don't bring heavy involved reading or work from the office! You are looking for fun and mindless distraction to pass the time. Remember, you will be productive enough in a few hours to make up for any unproductive activities during your labor waiting period!
- Maternity pads (nighttime sanitary pads), and spare maternity underwear.
- Nursing bras. If you plan to wear a bra during labor, it is helpful to have a nursing bra on already if you plan to nurse your baby. Usually you will be allowed to nurse right away after birth. Make sure you wear a very comfortable fitting nursing bra, not one with underwires.
For Labor Partner:
Watch with a second hand to time contractions
- Camera/video camera if you want it and film/tape if needed
- Snacks, reading material
- Toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste..)
- Change of clothes, particularly if they will be staying with you at the hospital for several days after the baby.
- Cell phone/phone card
- List of important numbers
- Dollar Bills for vending machine
- Water Spray/Mister for gentle cool-downs during labor.
- Tennis balls for back massage
Hospital Bag for your Postpartum Use:
Front opening nursing nightie
- Comfy clothes to wear for leaving the hospital. Remember you are not going to be able to wear non-maternity clothes a few days after having your baby! So bring comfortable maternity clothing or transitional clothing. Also, if you have a C-section, the last thing you will want is any pressure on your tummy. A comfortable cotton elastic waistband that fits below the belly or that is designed to fold down bellow the belly for comfort is best.
- Easy fitting footwear
- Change of underwear and maternity pads for heavy bleeding after birth
- Nursing Bras (at least 2). Make sure these are easy fitting nursing bras that do not have underwire. Wear a nursing bra with plenty of room and stretch as you breasts may increase up to a cup in size when you milk comes in.
- Personal music player and headphones
- Magazines and easy reading material. You will be too tired for any heavy reading!
Hospital Bag for Baby:
Last but certainly not least you will want to pack a few things for the new baby:
-Properly installed infant car seat. This is a must if you want to take your baby home with you! Make sure you have your car seat professionally installed several weeks before you go to the hospital. Any fire station can install your car seat for you. An alarming number of car seats are not properly installed by parents.
- Newborn diapers
- Infant hat
- Receiving blankets
- Newborn sleeper or outfits
- Socks/booties
If you have all of these essentials ready to go in advance, you can have peace of mind that you are well prepared when the time comes to have your baby!

Why Does Baby Vomit Milk and How to Solve the Problem?
Currently, many fresh parents find their babies vomit milk, but they do not know why and have no effective methods to avoid it. After seen a breastfeeding by fresh mother, I found out the crux of baby vomiting milk, which was caused by the improper breast-feeding way.
I pointed out that during the whole feeding process, there are at least 3 points which do not meet the requirements:
First, mother should change baby diaper first and then feed him. As soon as mother saw her infant crying, she knew that her infant was hungry and cannot wait to pick up and breastfeed him. After baby was full, mother changed the diapers for baby. Baby was turned over from left to right in bed, and when mother started to wear diaper for him, the legs and buttocks of baby were lifted. The stomach of newborn was in a horizontal position and the capacity of the stomach is small, its cardiac sphincter was flabby too, and together with the disruption when changing diapers, it is not strange that infant vomiting milk!
The right way to feed baby is that mother should change his diaper first, and then wash her hands and breastfeed him.
Secondly, when breastfeeding baby, mother should stuff her entire nipple and the most of areola into the mouth of baby, rather than just stuff the nipple in. If mother uses feeding-bottle to feed him, the rubber nipple should be full of milk to assure no air contained.
If mother only stuffs her nipple in but without areola, or the rubber nipple is with half milk and half of the air, when newborn sucking milk, the air can be easily inhaled at the same time. If too much air was inhaled and mixed with milk in the stomach, the gas would rise, belch would bring together with the milk, the newborn would vomit milk.
Thirdly, after feeding milk, mother cannot let her infant sleep immediately on the bed, but should pick up him and put his head on the shoulder of mother, pats his back gently at the same time to make the stomach gas expel from the stomach. After baby eructs several belches, put it on the bed and let him lie on his right side. It is not suitable to let newborn lie horizontal because if he vomits milk, the milk will easily be inhaled into cavity or even trachea. The light one will cause pneumonia, and the serious one will cause respiratory tract asphyxia and death.
Actually, infant vomiting milk is not always caused by the wrong feeding methods. Some of the pathological factors can also lead to sick up milk, such as stomach esophagus back-streaming, pyloric spasm, congenital hypertrophic pyloric, digestive tract obstruction, infectious disease, brain hemorrhage and so on.
As a result, if infant vomiting milk is not caused by the improper feeding methods, parents should bring him to hospital in time to find out the reason, so that infant can receive targeted treatment as soon as possible.

Necklaces With Your Childrens Names
Now that you have seen necklaces with your childrens names on Oprah, in PeopleStyle Watch, US Weekly, Celebrity Baby Blog, and Belly Magazine, you realize that they are not just a fashion craze; they are a lovely and elegant way to always keep your precious babies nestled to your heart. Today, most jewelry has a message, especially for new parents who are celebrating the miracle of life that has come into their world. So, the next question is, which do you buy? Of course, the answer is, that depends.
Gold Necklaces with Your Childrens Names
Heidi Klum as beautiful and successful as she is and very high profile, wore an elegant little black dress and a simple gold necklace when on Oprah's show. On closer inspection, we saw that the necklace with three gold charms actually carries the name of her three children so that she has them with her wherever she goes. No matter how busy or in demand, she always has her family to remind her of the true values in life. We now call this the Heidi Klum necklace because of the huge demand for it.
Created by hand just like Heidi Klum's, these gold necklaces with your childrens names feature a delicate 14kt gold charm, ¾ of an inch in diameter, that has baby's name hand engraved with up to 7 characters. Because you can see Heidi Klum with 3 charms on her necklace, she obviously had one for each child and I am sure that she will add another for the baby girl coming in October. It is simple to do. When you order the necklace ask for as many charms to be engraved as you have members of your family. The additional cost is nominal compared to the warmth in your heart with your loved ones so close.
Silver Necklaces with Your Childrens Names
We also found the same style of personalized necklace for moms who prefer silver. The Triple Tiny Charms Name Necklace is so sweet and adorable that you will hardly be able to resist it. As seen in US Weekly, lovely personalized mommy jewelry is made from pure sterling silver. The charms are a tiny 1/2 inch in diameter and can either be placed on the sterling silver figure 8 chain individually and evenly spaced, or hanging together so that they chime as you move. The names of your children can be hand stamped with up to 7 characters and placed either across the center of the disc or bordering the bottom edge.
Birthstone Necklaces with Your Childrens Names
If we were to choose the single most trendy childrens name necklace, the All Gold Name Charm Necklace has top billing. Entirely hand crafted and totally unique, this is some of the most beautiful jewelry you will ever wear. The petite 14kt gold charm is hammered by the artisan to give it a rippling texture that shimmers in the light. The name of your child is engraved in her elegant script on the face and the date of birth on the reverse. The charm is then affixed to the stylish 14kt gold chain with an authentic Swarovski birthstone crystal. To further make this gorgeous jewelry even more of an original, you can add as many charms and crystals as you have members of your family.
